Bluecast Episode 21 – Predator With Candy Cane Claws

January 11, 2010 By: Adam Blue Category: Podcast No Comments →

This week is a bit shorter than others, though, it’s not about the time you have, but how you use it. Right? Regardless, we talk a bit about Darksiders and it’s game of the year status. Plus, how it’s awesome because there’s one part that’s just like another game but I won’t tell you because I’ll spoil it. We also touch a bit more on the whole Call of Duty franchise and Aliens vs. Predator in other territories. The opening song is another piece by MegaDriver, Metropolis.

Bluecast Episode 20 – Game of the Year Show

January 04, 2010 By: Adam Blue Category: Podcast No Comments →

2009 has gone and we haven’t done a show in about 6 months. To start off the new year right, we have a brand-new Bluecast for you covering our favorites and disappointments from 2009. Adam and Sean work the whole episode, but it is possible we may have a new member or two pretty soon. That is, if we can keep recording.

Intro music is MegaDriver’s Chemical Plant metal cover of Sonic 2 from their MetalHog album.

Bluecast Episode 19 – Let’s Get Technical

July 22, 2009 By: Adam Blue Category: Podcast No Comments →

This week on the Bluecast we’re joined by Jason Johnson of Period-Three fame and with him we discuss a little of everything. From BF1943, Ghostbusters, Red Faction, game engines, and a little Mine Craft.

We also find out I have no idea what Sims is about, and what I mean by using my iPhone in a women’s clothing store. It’s all full of class and only about an hour of your life, so if you break down the time spent on the toilet for a full week, you have plenty of time to listen in.

Bluecast Episode 18 – Show Notes

March 24, 2009 By: Adam Blue Category: Podcast No Comments →

This week, Adam, Sean, and Jose discuss co-op gaming and what Apple will eventually be offering gamers. Jose and Adam also try to play the iPhone Watchmen online game…but no luck. This episode may seem kinda lame since we stuck we a show-note format. But it is still very informative and it’s clear that Jose doesn’t play demos.

Bluecast Episode 17 – Jose is Rorschach

March 19, 2009 By: Adam Blue Category: Podcast No Comments →

You can blame watching the Watchmen. We did nothing that week but get caught off in the hype. But did it pay off? Adam, Sean, and Jose discuss the Watchmen and the Limited Edition Watchmen 360. We then get into some gaming talk; how GTAIV sucks, Halo Wars is great, and CoD5 is hard. We also get into some iPhone game discussion. A solid show but not necessarily humorous. For humor, check out a picture of Sean.

Also check back for pictures of Jose as Rorschach, and the Watchmen 360.

Bluecast Episode 16 – History Channel Games Rock

February 24, 2009 By: Adam Blue Category: Podcast No Comments →

With not much of a comeback and still some technical difficulties, Adam, Sean, and Jose return to not play games and just talk about them. They discuss newly announced titles like Terminator Salvation and Lost Planet 2, while getting lost in deep discussion about the History Channel series of games. They finally get to some NXE talk and reminisce about the time Adam’s Mom pushed his blown-up Van down the street.

And the intro track is from the game Dragon’s Fury (depending on region) for Genesis/Megadrive and Wii Virtual Console.

Bluecast Episode 15 – We’re Back

February 16, 2009 By: Adam Blue Category: Podcast No Comments →

Wow. A Bluecast? After all this time? Adam, Sean, and Jose are back with an all new action-packed episode, and don’t they sound just as lost as ever. The group discuss what happened between the last Bluecast and now, and also go over current games and what’s coming. Also The Schiller chimes in for a quick call.

But give them a break – it felt like the first day of Highschool…which Sean should know so well.

The opening and closing music is ‘How the West Was Won’ from the Red Alert 3 Soundtrack.

Bluecast Episode 14 – SSB Broke My Wii

March 19, 2008 By: Adam Blue Category: Podcast 2 Comments →

This week, we have a full house with Sean, Jose, Dan, and myself. We do a lot of talking about the Wii. Its hold on the casual gamer, and how Super Smash Brothers Brawl broke my Wii. Sean does a mini review of SSB for us, then decides to pass out before finishing his Condemned 2 review. The intro music to this weeks Bluecast is the Main Theme from the pinball game Dragon’s Fury on the Sega Genesis.

Bluecast Episode 13 – Technical Difficulties

March 05, 2008 By: Adam Blue Category: Podcast No Comments →

Well, it has been a while since the last Bluecast. But we’re back. This time around, Dan “KingGorilla” Brent from Immortal Machines drops by to lend his soothing voice to the roundtable gaming discussion. We talk a lot about how great Frontlines is, and touch on other various industry news.*

*We are using a new recording method for the Bluecast, so this episode’s sound is a little off. Next week everyone should be at equal volume. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Blucast Episode 12 – 12pc Wings, Weaksauce Please

February 18, 2008 By: Adam Blue Category: Podcast 2 Comments →

There was a girl in the room, so I think Jose freaked. But that didn’t stop us from recording! This week we wing it. Jose has nothing to say, Adam has nothing to say, and Sean has nothing to say, yet we all had a good time. Adam hates on the negative Turok reviews, Jose regrets his HD-DVD investment, and Sean can’t get enough of Halo 3. Fun episode? You decide.
