This Week in Lull: Anger 3
So, THQ almost signed West and Zampella, but Respawn wanted to own the IP and that would make stock holders upset – nothing to do with how the gamers might feel. Boo to THQ.
The Twisted Pixel guys are encouraging the Capcom bashing on the internet. Capcom Mobile made a ‘Splosion Man knock-off on iOS, and TP says they won’t sue just because they are too small. Twisted Pixel, as a developer you need to understand this happens in the industry, and until you can come up with something as mighty as Mega Man, keep it to yourself. And targeting Capcom as a whole? I’m sure it’s not every single employee’s decision. The iOS space has voids to fill. Capcom just beat you too it.
The Dreamcast Collection has been announced, four epic DC games on XBox and PC. If these are separate achievements than the games on XBLA, I’ll be playing through these all more than once.
Stone Sour on Rock Band? I can’t believe people actually listen to this kind of music. I hate to admit it, but I saw them live…and it was a bore.
Actually, I think that’s all the anger I have right now. Dead Space 2 hits soon, and I’m sure that game is going to be a blast. The first is great, and the DS2 demo showed of more of the awesomeness. Oh, and this tid-bit from last night:
Sean: So, if I get this card I can play Crysis on high?
Me: No one can play Crysis on high.
And that’s it. Quite an empty week. Tonight I’m seeing Army of Darkness at a theater. While some may feel it’s amazing to see it in a theater, I did back in 1993. So I’ll just be that much more awesomer.
