Old but New: Undead Nightmare Pack and Shank 0
So I have been playing a lot of games lately. Just finished a week full of Fable’n. Had some fun time with my little brother Sean. We had a baby together. Awwww so cute! But I’ve been waiting for my new games so I decided to hit up the Xbox Live Game Market Place. And the first Purchase was….
The Undead Nightmare Pack for Red Dead Redemption. If you loved the main game….this is a must have! I haven’t bought any of the other add ons such as the Liars and Cheats pack or the other one which I can’t remember. But this pack has zombies. And you know the Blues love us some zombie killing. There is a lot of funny story here, and it starts by presenting the game as an old USA up all night horror flick. There are a lot of zombies and a lot of zombie animals. And if you think you can ride right through the zombies with your horse, think again. They will pull you off and start nibbling. Now like any zombies….shoot for the head. The chest just doesn’t cut it on these guys. Also you can discover sasquatches to kill, and even discover the four ‘horse’men of the apocalypse. There is a fire horse, a pestilence horse, and 2 more I haven’t discovered. Even if your real horse dies, it returns as a zombie horse! They even have more challenges for this add on like the main game. Hunting, treasure searching and more. As far as game add-ons go this is a 10/10 must have.
Next I finally decided to buy Shank. I liked the demo a while back just never bought it. It plays like a really awesome flash game. Lots of blood and killing…..oh lots of killing. I almost got the 1,000 kill achievement on my first play through. It took me about 3-4 hours to beat, and I played it straight through without stopping. Never got bored. They have lots of stuff to unlock while you play. I used a doctor outfit I found in the first level for most of the game. You also unlock some game art. Speaking of art, the cartoon animation and character designs are great. You find several kinds of weapons through-out; chainsaw, machetes, katana, chains, uzis, shotties, and of course you have a shank. If you like mind numbing killing while playing an easy side-scrolling platformer…this is your game. I give it an 8/10.
Today I just got Fall Out: New Vegas in the mail, as well as, Vanquish. So tonight is booked for me. I think I will hold off until tomorrow to get Black Ops….even though it would be nice to get it a day before my brothers. Alright kids…game on.
