Gimped Sonic 4 Now On iOS 3
The fans have spoke (spoked, speakened?), and Sega listened, changing what Sonic The Hedgehog 4 would originally be when released. Now the original gimped version was just flung onto iOS today. Not only does it crash, but it includes the cut mine-cart level and single screen pinball machine, as well as the reduced time it takes to get to full speed. And, it’s $10. I can’t really blame Sega for that last part though, people lap up iOS apps like Starbucks (these are typically the same people, btw).
Even as a hardcore Sonic fan, I’m still undecided if I’ll jump on this. This was not an effort. This is the gimped version being released to meet the deadline. And…$10.
