BlueGamer: The Making of – Let’s Party 2
Yes, you are looking at a new BlueGamer.
This was a long time coming, and there are many reasons for it – but I finally did it. I redesigned the site back in April of last year, but that was all based on code from 2006, back when I didn’t know what I was doing. Hacking a single CSS file for years will catch up to you. And it’s ugly. It’s like the club closed and the lights finally come on, giving you a clear picture of what you were dancing with. It wasn’t pretty. Using WordPress back before all the fancy dashboard controls, I had to do everything the hard way. I then had a buddy start hosting it for me which was great, but communication dwindled so I never had full control. I then decided it was time to move it to my own server since I have a great grasp on it all. I moved tons of files via FTP, signed up for a new hosting service, slapped on a fresh installation of WordPress, and started redesigning. I feel I’ve come a long way. I wanted to get that out there. And that includes a party.
I really don’t know what ‘party’ has to do with anything, but I just like a reason to party. Instead, expect a real forum among other crazy features that will eventually roll out. I know it seemed like we were starting up with the Bluecast and then it kinda disappeared – but it’s not going anywhere. It’ll be back.
I really think that’s all I’ve got.
